On the afternoon of August 18, 2018, in the conference room on the 4th floor of the office building of China General Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria, the Third Council of the fourth session of China General Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria was successfully held. Ye Shuijin, President of China Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria, Luo Yi, business office of Chinese Embassy in Nigeria, and directors of 22 Council units of China Chamber of Commerce attended the meeting.

The Council adopted the following resolutions;

It is agreed that Gezhouba company will be the initiator to establish the power branch of China General Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria;

It is agreed to establish the building materials branch of China Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria with Sinoma Construction Co., Ltd. as the initiator;

Li group, as the initiator, voted to establish Kano branch of China Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria;

Voted for China Power Construction Group International Engineering Co., Ltd. to become the fourth board member of China General Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria;

It is agreed that the West Africa Company of China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co., Ltd. will become the fourth board member of China General Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria.

At the third session of the fourth council of the General Chamber of Commerce, it was also decided to reorganize the articles of association of the General Chamber of Commerce in the second half of 2018; establish the website of the General Chamber of Commerce; establish the credit rating system of the General Chamber of Commerce; and establish the corporate publicity mechanism of the General Chamber of Commerce.

The General Chamber of Commerce will continue to work hard in the second half of the year to make up for the shortcomings, explore and innovate, and better serve the member units.
